ChannelForge

Private YouTube channel operations for an authorized operator.

What ChannelForge does

ChannelForge is a locally installed desktop application used by its operator to manage YouTube channels he owns or is authorized to administer. It brings channel publishing, metadata, engagement, analytics, reporting and quota monitoring into one local control surface.

ChannelForge can upload and publish videos, manage supported channel resources, retrieve channel and video metadata, and read analytics, reporting, revenue and membership information when the connected account and channel are eligible. Write operations occur only when initiated by the operator or by local automation that the operator configured.

Google account access

Each YouTube channel is connected through Google's OAuth 2.0 consent flow. The requested permissions allow ChannelForge to perform the functions above for that channel. Access is limited by the permissions Google grants and by the operator's role on the channel.

ChannelForge runs on the operator's own computer. Google user data and OAuth credentials are not sold, used for advertising, or transferred to data brokers.
